About Arlene
Arlene has held senior leadership positions in a number of Ontario Hospitals throughout her 25 years of healthcare experience. Recently, she was the Director of Medical Affairs for one of the busiest multi-site hospitals in Canada.
As an experienced healthcare leader, Arlene works with individual physicians and practices to identify, secure and grow any healthcare practice, including the acquisition of their real estate. An insightful communicator, Arlene is very skilled at supporting physicians and guiding teams through difficult negotiations. Her diverse background in both medical affairs and commercial real estate provides a unique knowledge base for specializing in healthcare properties.
Arlene implemented the first Provincial Doctors’ Day in 2009 and went on to work alongside MPP Reza Moridi to bring a private members bill forward to the Legislature that was passed in 2011 to proclaim May 1st as Provincial Doctors’ Day in Ontario. In 2021, Arlene lead a research project on the effects of physician burnout and was invited to present at the annual OMA Physician Health Program Meeting.
She has a Masters in Healthcare from Schulich School of Business as well as a Broker License in real estate specializing in healthcare properties.
